Course description
This course is aimed at defining and implementing the principles of risk assessment and risk management in different situations. Some situations are complex and present significant risks which need to be managed and demonstrated as effective. Suitable for early career and those wishing to improve risk assessment skills and knowledge.
This is a basics course for those undertaking biological risk assessment. The course will explore all the things considered and apply to situations using examples in group work. In the absence of listed risk group and containment levels it is necessary to have skills to do this for your situation to effectively and appropriately manage the risk reduction. This course is relevant to those working in all situations.
Participants will understand the principles of biological risk assessment suitable to different situations. Participant will understand evaluation of effective risk reduction of protective measures. Participants will be able to undertake a risk assessment.
