EBSA’s Education and Training Working Group ETWG consists of nine members with a widespread origin and background, working towards a common goal: improving Biosafety in Europe and beyond by providing high quality biosafety/biosecurity training and education resources.
ETWG represents an important part of EBSA’s strategy to increase Biosafety in Europe. Over more than a decade ETWG has organised annual preconference courses on a wide range of biosafety related topics. In addition, the working group is involved in providing online courses, a training e-library and other projects. Please check our our current activities and terms of reference on the EBSA website.
Building upon recent successes, ETWG is now looking for new members. Maybe it is you who we are looking for?
What you could bring with you to ETWG:
- passion to improve Biosafety and preferably experience in teaching and training
- preferably a good network among biosafety experts around the world
- 1-2 hours a week to commit actively to the ETWG tasks
- Communication skills to work with a group and maintain dialogue with invited experts
- Teamplayer skills and the ability to give constructive inputs to a diverse team
- responsibility and reliability to deliver milestones / deliverables in a timely manner
- flexibility and inventiveness, what is sometimes needed to do our work
- complementary skills in areas such as online training, data …
ETWG is a busy and friendly group who will welcome new members and ease them into the working flow of the group.
