how to get to the conference hotel

Athens International Airport is located 33 km southeast of Athens. It is easily accessible via the Athens ring road (Attiki Odos). The drive from downtown Athens takes 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic.

By Metro

Metro Line 3 connects the airport to the city centre (Syntagma Square).

At Syntagma Square you have to change to Metro Line 2 and get of at Acropoli station.
From there it is a 3 minute walk (250 m) to the hotel.

The journey time is approximately 50 minutes.
Trains run every 30 minutes, 7 days a week from 6:30 am to 11:30 pm.

The most cost effective way is buying a return ticket (16 euro) as the combined 5 day tickets do not include travel to and from the airport!

The hotel is located near touristic sites and if you would like to travel by metro during the stay then you can also buy an extra 5-day metro ticket.

By Taxi

Taxis are available outside Exit 3 of Arrivals Level. A taxi from the airport to the city centre costs a flat rate of €40 from 5 am to midnight, and €55 from midnight to 5 am. The rate is determined by the time of arrival at the destination and includes all applicable surcharges.

IMPORTANT UPDATES MUST BE DONE BEFORE APRIL 14TH AS WE WILL THEN PRINT THE BADGE AND SEND CATERING DETAILS TO THE HOTEL.

All conference and course material is digitally available.

If you want to check out the material for your course or the conference you need

1. Logon at https://www.ebsaweb.eu/login
   
   if you never logged in before or you forgot your password, clik on the "Forgot your password?" link and you will recieve an automated mail with link to make an new password (check also your spam folder).
   
   If you did not get the email with the link, contact us at ebsa-office@ebsaweb.eu and we will sort it out for you.
   
   
2. Go to the "My EBSA & BBP events pageé https://www.ebsaweb.eu/my-account/meetings
   
   Here you find the overview of your courses and conferences. Click on the "show meeting" link next to the title of the meeting and you will be redirected to that meeting.
   
   
   
   Click on the "Materials" tab to see all documents that are already available (not all course have already uploaded all the material) and download/print them.
   
   All courses and the conference have their own material tab that is only visible for registered attendees for that course or the conference.

conference app

During the conference we will be using a conference app that is directly linked to the EBSA website, so no extra login or registration needed just use your EBSA account.

Search in your Android or IOS app store for "Procurios Communities"

After installing and login members will see the "EBSA member forum" and the "2023 EBSA Conference Athens" community. Non-members will only see the last one.

There are some issues with finding the APP in the Android store if you have version 11 or 12.

We notified the provider and they are solving the problem. So please check again later if you did not find it.
