We are inviting abstracts around all following topics:

  • Biosafety behaviour and Bio-ethics
This session aims to discuss behaviour based biosafety and bioethics. Biosafety behaviour involves human factors that reduces hazards, risks and incidents in which persons behaviour plays a key role. Bioethics is the study on ethical, social and legal issues that arise in life sciences, biotechnology and public health. Both biosafety behaviour and ethical considerations underpin effective biosafety practices, fostering a culture of responsibility and integrity in the biosafety community. Topics of Interest include:
    • Psychological and behavioral aspects of biosafety compliance
    • Brain-based biosafety
    • Ethical dilemmas in biosafety decision-making
    • Strategies for promoting a culture of biosafety and ethical conduct
    • Case studies on biosafety behavior and ethical challenges
    • Training programs focused on biosafety ethics and behavior
    • Impact of organizational culture on biosafety practices
    • Ethical considerations in dual-use research
    • Bioethical discussions in biomedical procedures, new medicines and ways of altering plants and animals – cost-benefit analysis in relation with ethical dilemma’s
    • Role of leadership in fostering ethical biosafety practices
    • Public perception and ethical communication in biosafety
    • Integrating bio-ethics into biosafety policies and regulations

  • One Health and Biosafety
This session will focus on the interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental health, and the critical role of biosafety in promoting a holistic approach to health and disease prevention. Topics of Interest include:
